Hello Keller Clay Target Team Membership,

The long wait is over. After 18 months of planning, preparation, and working with our wonderful tax advisor, Rebecca Davee, the Keller Clay Target Team is now officially a 501C3 charitable organization!

Under our previous 501C7 status, donors could not deduct their contributions to the team. Now they can! With this change, any donor who donated funds on or after 9/9/21 can deduct their donation.

Thanks to all the hard work and effort of the Board Members from last year, as well as the current Board Members pushing it over the goal line, we are now official.

Technically, the parent organization is called KHSCTT, INC. We will now be listed in Goldstar, the national listing of charitable organizations. We are eligible to sign up for Amazon Smile, as well as receive donations via Facebook, etc.

Also, any volunteer who is employed by an employer who matches their service to a charity with a monetary donation, we are now eligible to receive these matching donations.

Furthermore, we can even accept stock and other investments to the team as deductible gifts.

This is really huge…it opens the team up to a lot of possibilities.

Thanks again for everyone’s patience and diligence in making this happen. You’ve blessed the team for many seasons to come!
