Double Your Impact: Employer Donation Matching Opportunities for the Keller Clay Target Team

20 Apr 2023 by Mark Myers

Dear Parents of Keller Clay Target Team athletes,

I hope this message finds you well. As the board president of our organization, I am excited to share with you a new opportunity that we have available to us.

As you may know, the Keller Clay Target Team has recently obtained 501C3 charitable status, which means that we are now eligible to receive matching donations and gifts from certain employers when our volunteers donate their time, service, or money to our team.

Some employers offer programs in which they match their employees’ charitable donations and volunteer service to eligible 501C3 organizatìions like ours. This means that if your employer participates in such a program, you can donate your time, service, or money to the Keller Clay Target Team, and your employer will match your donation with a monetary gift to our organization.

To help you take advantage of these opportunities, I have compiled a sample list of 10 employers that are local to Keller, TX, that should provide this benefit. These employers are:

AT&T

Bank of America

Fidelity Investments

GM Financial

JPMorgan Chase

Lockheed Martin

Microsoft

PepsiCo

State Farm

Verizon

I encourage you to speak to your employer or human resources representative to see if your company offers a donation matching program. If they do, please consider making a donation to the Keller Clay Target Team, or and your employer will match it with a monetary gift.

Your donation will help us continue to provide the best possible experience for our athletes and support our mission of promoting shooting sports in a safe and fun environment.

Next Steps:

When calling your Human Resources or Employee Benefits phone number, you can use the following script as a guideline to inquire about your employer’s donation matching program:

“Hello, I am [Your Name], an employee at [Your Company], and I wanted to inquire about the company’s donation matching program. I understand that some employers offer programs in which they match their employees’ charitable donations and volunteer service to eligible 501C3 organizations. Could you please tell me if [Your Company] has a donation matching program? If so, what are the key details and requirements, and how can I participate?”

It’s important to use the keywords “donation matching program” and “501C3 organizations” when making your inquiry. Additionally, be prepared to provide your employee information with the name of our parent organization that is the eligible 501C3 organization that you would like to donate to.

If your company does offer a donation matching program, be sure to follow their specific guidelines and requirements to ensure that your donation is eligible for the match.

Here’s the name of the 501C3 nonprofit charitable parent organization that sponsors The Keller Clay Target Team:

KHSCTT, INC.
PO Box 80142
Keller, TX 76248
EIN# 82-3747369
